Our lives are like one enormous big circle rotating round and round and round. I am a very common human being and I am very much nostalgic about my childhood. We all gradually grow up and become old after a certain period of time but we should always keep the child amongst us live, other wise our daily life will become meaning less. I belief that this world is a play ground and we all are here to make fun and play our innings in such a way that we should not have any regret in our future.
I don’t know from where I am going to start because it’s a long story and it has many different phrases, but still I want to share some of my memorable days in child hood. I always belong to a joint family, and believe me in kolkata you would hardly find any joint family now a days who has so much unity and love amongst themselves. I still remember my grand mother whom I used to call “Amma” used to solve the problem between me and “Pimpa” that who is going to sleep beside her. I love to here stories from my grand mother, more than her stories I loved her expression. Though Amma belonged to old generation but she could not be categorized amongst them as because she was very smart and she looked beautiful. For me my Amma means a lot. My father always used to told me that it because of amma that our family is standing so strongly beside one another every time.
Amma used to cook very well, and I being a very food loving person used to eat a look when ever she used to cook some thing. I am the only child of my parent though I have many cousin but since child hood I was favorite to and close to Amma. She has been my friend philosopher and guide. I used to get a lot of thrashing and beating from my mother and every time like a real grand mother my Amma used to save me.
Well Amma used to be my life. I still remember the day when my amma left all of us and died, she was addmited in the hospital, and my mother gave me a call and told me “Neel………amma r nai” which means she is no more with us. That’s the hardest truth which I still don’t want to believe but it’s the fact. But she has taught us many things and many ethic values which we still remember.
One request to all my viewer love your elders respect them be what ever you are but under every circumstances love your family and stay beside them because your family will stand by you every time when ever you need support.
this kinda made be re-live some of my own memories wid my grandmother. even she used to save me if i was in trouble and make the best mushurir dal in the world.
